About: Graduated in Medicine by Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) (1991 ), residency in otolaryngology at the Hospital das Clínicas, UFMG (1992), Master in Infectology and Tropical Medicine by UFMG (1996 ), PhD in Infectology and Tropical Medicine from UFMG (2000 ), improvement in otoneurology in Maastricht University, Netherlands (2003 ) and post-doctorate in medical education by the Erasmus University Rotterdam ( 2012) . She participapes in interchanged researches in the area of electrophysiology of audition and equilibrium with Auvergne University, Clermont-Ferrand, France (2014-current). She has experience in mucocutaneous leishmaniasis and HTLV-1-associated myelopathy (HAM). She is currently head professor and member of the Graduation Program of Infectology and Tropical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of UFMG.
