Knowledge Gap Analysis – Consensus building exercise: Invitation to participate

The Global Health Network leads the capacity development initiative across the three EU-funded Zika consortia programmes and within this we are tasked to conduct a survey to establish the perceived knowledge and skills gaps in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean relating to clinical, laboratory or observational research. Therefore we kindly ask for a moment of your time and assure you that your help is really important. The aim is to determine key training needs and skills gaps in order to support health facilities and laboratories in running high quality research studies, now and in the future.

We would like to invite you to take part in a short survey. It is really important to include individuals who are directly involved in clinical, health or laboratory research studies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Please find attached a Participant Information Sheet and an Informed Consent Sheet, for your reference.

You can access the survey by clicking on this link:

It will take no more than 10 minutes to complete and your answers will be incredibly helpful for guiding and determining the development of future training and resources.
